Raw Corn Kernel 1/4cup/69g
Vegetable Oil 1/2tbsp/6g
Sugar 7tsp/35g
Water 7tsp/12g
Melted Butter 4tsp/22.4g
Crushed Cookies 1/2cup/50g
Milk Powder 2tbsp/8g
Method to steps for cookies and cream popcorn:
For cooking popcorn:
- In a large pot, place raw corn kernel and vegetable oil. On high heat, sauté until you see the raw corn kernel started popping. Lower the flame to low heat.
- Cover with a lid. Shake the pot for even cooking. Turn off the flame when you stop hearing popping sound.
For flavouring popcorn with cookies and cream:
- In a small pot, bring sugar and water to a boil. Continue cooking until it turns a light ember colour.
- In the meantime, add melted butter to cooked popcorn. Toss to coat evenly. Add crushed cookies and milk powder. Toss to coat evenly.
- Slowly pour in sugar mixture evenly. Toss to coat.
- Cool until sugar harden.
